The completely-in-the-canal (C.I.C) hearing aids are the ultimate in miniaturization
and is the hearing aid that is the closest to being
'invisible' when being worn. Users of these hearing aids have less problems with
telephone feedback and wind noise since the hearing aid sits inside the canal of the ear.
The natural shape of a person's outer ear also
funnels sounds down to the faceplate/microphone of C.I.C. hearing aids.
The circuitry or electronics that can be installed in C.I.C hearing aids range from the basic analog
circuit to the most advanced digital hearing aid circuits available.
We are well versed and experienced in all of the latest hearing aid industry developments.
C.I.C. hearing aids are made to the exact size and shape of a person's ear. These aids
are the smallest sized hearing aids that any manufacturers produce. C.I.C. hearing aids are
generally appropriate for hearing losses ranging from mild to moderate, if appropriate we can
obtain one special, very high-powered circuit C.I.C. from a specific
manufacturer for severe losses. We will match the power and frequency of the circuit that is installed in C.I.C hearing aids.
That's why you don't see any output specifications associated with these hearing aids......
they are individually made and will vary greatly.
Most of these hearing aids do not come fitted with volume control. However,
if necessary we can build a special volume control mechanism into these hearing aids at an additional cost.
Since these hearing aids are custom fitted to the user's ear, these aids require a very good, long impression of inside the user's ear canal.
We have provided many of these hearing aids to our customers by mail. These hearing
aids use the size #10 batteries (very rarely the smaller #5's).

| When your order is received, we will send you a FREE impression kit.
It is very easy to make an impression(cast) of your ear... over the years tens of
thousands of our customers have done this. Another option is if you have an
older instrument that fits well, we can use that hearing aid for the impression. Either of
these is necessary for custom-fitted hearing aids. If you have an audiogram (from a hearing test)
it would be very helpful if you provided a copy of it to us, but is not necessary. |
