Our Body aids all use AA batteries which them very inexpensive to operate.
The body aid itself is worn in a shirt pocket or attached to the belt and has a cord that leads up to the ear. The receiver (speaker) is at the other end of the cord and is placed in the ear with a custom earmold.
By having a greater distance between the Receiver and the microphone the volume of the receiver can be turned up louder before the sound reaches the microphone of the body aid.
