Aurora® is a fully digital hearing instrument that provides superior performance and fine-tuning capability. Aurora's digital sound processing maintains clear, clean sound quality and its compression functions provide comfortable listening levels in noisy environments while providing appropriate amplification for soft sounds. As a programmable instrument, Aurora allows us to reach a higher degree of precision in fitting your individual loss. Programmability also allows us to easily make adjustments should your hearing needs change.

Association Hearing Services can also program your hearing instrument with special options allowing for two or three different types of listening environments. These are called "memories" or "situation settings". This versatility enables you to adapt your hearing instrument when conversing with family and friends, using the telephone, or enjoying the sounds of nature.

Aurora provides user-friendly enhancements such as a volume control (size permitting), memory beeps that signal your program changes, a low battery beep that signals when to replace your hearing instrument's battery, and a power-on delay feature that averts the feedback normally experienced when inserting a hearing instrument. Also available is adjustable crossover frequency, gain control, AGC-I, AGC-O, feedback management, and microphone noise reduction.

Aurora is ideal for mild to moderately severe hearing losses.
