Ear Wax Brush
Ear Wax Brush

This is a special Brush designed for cleaning out the Receiver Tube where the sound comes out of all sizes of the In-The-Ear (ITE) hearing aids, and can also be used to clean the faceplace around the volume control, mic opening and battery door area. No matter what level of hearing instrument technology you have earwax is the #1 problem for In-The-Ear hearing instrument wearers. To help prevent these problems you will need to do a daily maintenance.

When you are cleaning your ITE hearing aid the receiver tube should point down towards the floor so when you loosen debris, dirt and ear wax it will fall to the floor and not back down inside the hearing aid. If you do not clean this hole the earwax will build up and get into the receiver (speaker) and ruin it causing repair expense.

The Ear Wax Brush is an inexpensive tool for preventing this, you should use the brush in conjuction with the ear wax pick for the best cleaning results.

We also have a combination tool called the Wax Pick & Brush is included in the HearingAidsNow.com In-The-Ear Cleaning Kit.
